HTC has recently released its new product named as HTC Desire 816 which hits the market at the price rate of Rs. 21,377 in the Indian currency. The product is designed and built with the useful features and design as the device comes with the thinnest HTC Phabet. Display and Configuration

The HTC Desire 816 sports a a 5.5-inch display which features HD resolution (1,280 x 720 pixels) giving it a pixel density of 267 ppi. Running the Android OS, topped with Sense UI offering features like BlinkFeed and Zoe, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz backed by 1.5GB of RAM. The BlinkFeed feature lets you view a stream of personalized news, updates and stories on one screen.


The phablet has dual speakers at the front which is also known as BoomSound. The display features an edge-to-edge design giving it a HTC One like feel. The desire 816 is HTC’s first device to offer virtual navigation keys instead of hardware buttons.

Camera and storage

For shutterbugs, it offers a 13-megapixel camera at the back illuminated by an LED flash. It also comes with a 5MP camera at the front, which will be useful for video chatting. There’s 8GB of storage with a microSD slot supporting cards up to 64GB.

Connectivity and Battery

In terms of connectivity, HTC Desire 816 has the usual features including 3G and LTE support which is the nano-SIM slot along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Desire 816 is powered by a non-removable 2,600mAh battery.
